And here are some resources to extend the information in the show.
In the interview, Sarah and I mentioned my site Rust Belt Webworks. Well, I working on phasing it out and moving all of the important bits over to this site.
Why? Lack of alignment.
I have decided to double down on this idea of alignment as the core metric of business and marketing. The Rust Belt Webworks brand wasn’t ideal for that. A fresh idea needs a fresh brand. And this is it.
Even experienced marketers change their mind and direction.
Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke is 1 of my favorite books of all time. I can’t recommend it strongly enough.
Work the System is another favorite of mine. The best part about it is that you can get it for FREE.
This is still a work in progress. It’s such a deep topic that it may always be a work in progress. The more I dig into the concept, the more it rings true and the deeper it gets.
I am starting a series of articles on the idea. Here is the first one.
